Crow Wing County Caucus—A gathering of neighbors and a celebration of who we are

Plan now to join us for the upcoming precinct caucuses on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 —This is your chance to make your voice heard and help shape the future of our party!

What to know:

A caucus is a gathering of your neighbors in your precinct to:

• Elect precinct officers (chair, vice-chair)
• Elect delegates and alternates who will carry our voice to higher party conventions.
• Propose and vote on resolutions — ideas you care about that could become part of our party’s platform or action agenda.

Who can participate?

You must be at least 16 years old to attend. To vote for officers or delegate roles you must be at least 18 and eligible to vote in the next election. You should live within the precinct you attend and be a member of the DFL.

Why your attendance matters:

This is the ground floor of our party’s endorsement and decision-making process The decisions made here feed into conventions at the organizing unit, congressional district, and statewide levels. Whether you’re passionate about education, the environment, labor, health care, or any issue — you can bring it up by submitting a resolution. It’s a great opportunity to meet your neighbors, build community, and help raise up our shared values. This night is only one of the reasons Minnesota is a great place to live. If you can’t attend in person, you can file a non-attendee form and still participate via that route. We are aiming to make this a fun night. There will be food and entertainment beginning at 5:00 pm with the caucus starting at 7:00.
