What’s on my Ballot?

Every polling place has a different ballot. This is because every precinct has different local elections taking place in the same election cycle. Everyone in the state of Minnesota will vote for the national and state wide elections, such as Minnesota Governor, Senator, State Judges, and any ballot measures or amendments to the state constitution. MN has 10 judicial districts which may have judges up for election. Everyone in Crow Wing County will vote for Crow Wing County offices. Everyone in your school district will vote for the school board and/or referendums. For State Government, we are divided into districts. And at the most local level, you may vote on City Council and/or on other precinct issues. Precinct is the smallest organizational divition of our political system. Everyone in the same precinct will have the same ballot.

How do I vote before as election day?

In Minnesota, you can vote early starting 46 days before Election Day. Read about your options to vote early by mail or in person at the links below.

All Crow Wing County voters may vote early in person at the Crow Wing County Elections Office, 2^nd Floor West Wing, Historic Courthouse, 326 Laurel Street, Brainerd, MN.  

In-Person Voting will begin: Friday, September 18

Start of Early Voting: Friday, October 16

Last day to vote early in person: Monday, November 2

Wednesday, October 7th: Temporary Absentee Ballot Polling Place Central Lakes College Business Center E208 501 W College Dr, Brainerd, MN 56401 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. excluding legal holidays.

Open until 7:00 p.m. on October 27 (Tue)
